The Centre of Excellence in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation (TEREKK)  has a responsibility to protect its client’s privacy and assure safe and legal data processing. This privacy policy provides an overview of our practices, including what information we collect, how we use or disclose this information, how long we keep it and your rights regarding the collection and use of our data.

 

DEFINITIONS

1. Personal data – Any information relating to a natural person directly or indirectly identifiable.
2. “Processing of personal data” means the processing, restriction or deletion of any operation (including collection, documentation, trimming, structuring, storing, adapting, modifying, querying, reading, using, transmitting, disseminating or otherwise making available, joining, deletion or destruction).

 

WHAT KIND OF PERSONAL DATA ARE WE GATHERING AND WHY?

We collect personal information entered by you (name, e-mail address), if you contact us via emails listed in the contact page to find out about our activities or the services we provide. We also use the widespread analytics software, Google Analytics, to collect user IP addresses.

 

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF GATHERING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Personal information entered and sent to us will only be used by us to contact you and respond to inquiries. We use your IP address or other network identifiers for statistic purposes.

TEREKK does not sell or lease your personal information to third parties but may use authorized processors. Authorized processors apply the same principles to the processing of personal data as TEREKK.

 

STORING DATA

Personal data transmitted to you by TEREKK will only be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy. Subsequently, personal data will be removed, unless their retention is required by law or with the rights or obligations of either party.

 

SECURITY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

TEREKK applies all precautionary measures to protect the customer’s personal data.

 

USER RIGHTS

Users have the right to know what personal information we hold about them. You have the right to correct and change the data associated with you. If you want to apply your rights and modify or delete the data associated with you, contact us using the contact information below.

 

ANALYTICS

terekk.ee uses Google analytics software and measures the site’s visibility. The data obtained helps us to understand the behavior of our visitors on the page, and as a result we can make the use more convenient for visitors. Google’s analytics software uses a number of cookies to help us know if visitors of the site have previously visited it. If your computer has such cookies, your web browser will let us know about it; if you do not have one yet, we will offer them to your web browser. In this way, we can find out the number of our individual users and the frequency of visits. These cookies are only used for statistical purposes and it is not possible to identify individual users. Visitor personal information is not forwarded to Google. The main cookie used by Google Analytics is “__ga”.
